Some changes that I made from my rough draft to my final draft would include commons, periods and editing the format of the quotes and MLA format. One major change that I did do was changing my original thought of what I though Tan was saying about her mother and why she was conflicted from informal and formal speaking. I figured this out from peer editing and going back and reading in depth when looking for quotes
