Quick Write Reflection
- Why did you choose the ones that you did?
- What do these quick writers say about you as a writer?
Throughout the class this year I had just added all my quick writes to my eportfilio so I did not really pick out a few, but if I had to I would choose the quick write about the most important person in my life and the poem. Both of these were topics and genres that I had never really written about before. The most important person topic was very emotional and touched on topics that I had thought about but never really put pen to paper before. Poetry was always a genre that I had struggled with throughout high school and I think that I am most proud of the poem that I had written since we really broke down how to write poetry and how it can always look different. What these quick writes say about me as a writer is that I can change from one genre and topic to another. I liked how writing these quick writes was always about something different and I was able to fully put myself into each and every quick write.
